Privacy Policy

Country Rhodes Farms respects your privacy and only collects what we need to fulfill your order or respond to your inquiry — your name, email, phone number, pickup details, and anything you write in the notes box. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Payments and your card

Our meat is sold by weight, so the price shown when you order is an estimate based on a typical pack. When you place an order, your card is saved but not charged. Once we weigh your order, we charge that saved card for the actual weight, which may be a little more or less than the estimate. You receive a receipt by email as soon as it is charged, and there is nothing to pay at pickup.

Card payments are handled by Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment processor. Your full card number is entered on Stripe's own page and is stored by Stripe, not by us. It never passes through or rests on our servers. We can see only the card brand, the last four digits, and whether a charge succeeded. Your name, email, phone, and order details are shared with Stripe so it can process the payment and send your receipt.

If you would rather we did not keep a card on file, email or call the farm before pickup and we will remove it and take payment in person instead.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics (GA4, measurement ID G-KWD0XQ92SN) to understand how visitors use the site. Google Analytics sets cookies and may collect information such as your IP address, device type, pages viewed, and approximate location (city level). You can opt out by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. We do not run advertising trackers, retargeting pixels, or cross-site tracking.

California residents (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we have collected about you, request its deletion, and direct us not to sell it. We do not sell personal information. To exercise any of these rights, email countryrhodesfarms@gmail.com and reference “CCPA Request” in the subject line.

Cookies and storage

Your browser stores your shopping cart locally so it persists between visits. This is kept on your device and is not sent to our servers. Google Analytics also uses cookies as described above.

Deletion requests

If you would like us to delete the information we have collected from you, email countryrhodesfarms@gmail.com. We will confirm and delete within 30 days. Records of completed payments are kept by Stripe as long as the law requires.
